Chick-fil-A, Inc. Supports House of Cherith
At House of Cherith, our Mommy and Me program serves as a vital safe haven, enabling families to heal, grow, and thrive together. Our mission is to empower women to overcome trauma alongside their children, breaking cycles of abuse, addiction, and suffering for generations to come.
Thanks to a generous donation of $500,000 from Chick-fil-A, Inc., House of Cherith has made significant strides towards our goal. This remarkable contribution fuels our efforts to expand our reach and offer more families the opportunity to reclaim their freedom.
Looking ahead to 2024, we aim to open additional homes that will provide essential support for women and their children seeking healing and renewal. Our target is to raise $1.3 million to expand our facilities, ensuring safe housing, therapeutic care, and crucial services for 15 more families. Specifically, these funds will allow us to:
Build and furnish 10 new residences in Atlanta and 5 new residences in West Georgia
Hire 10 additional full and part-time employees to provide comprehensive care
Acquire a 15-passenger van to ensure reliable transportation for our families
We are deeply grateful for the incredible support from Chick-fil-A, Inc. and other generous donors who have brought us closer to our goal. However, we still need your help to make this vision a reality. Together, we can continue to transform lives and provide a brighter future for those in need. Join us in making a lasting impact today.
