House of Cherith Receives $50,000 Grant from Chick-Fil-A!

House of Cherith Selected as 2025 Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards® Grant Recipient

Atlanta, GA (Jan. 15, 2025) – House of Cherith an Atlanta area nonprofit, has been named the recipient of a$50,000  grant through the annual Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards® program. 

With this donation, House of Cherith plans to continue providing safe housing and supportive services where women can recover from the trauma of sexual exploitation. This support allows House of Cherith to focus on the residents and come alongside them to help them heal from years of sexual trauma. The organization's overall goal is to empower survivors to reclaim their dignity and self-worth, renew their faith in humanity, and rekindle their passion for a lifetime of success.

House of Cherith is one of 56 True Inspiration Awards grant recipients in 2025 who are receiving a collective $6 million from Chick-fil-A, Inc. To be selected, an organization must work to address a pressing issue in their community that aligns with one of Chick-fil-A’s corporate social responsibility priorities: Caring for People, Caring for Others through Food, Caring for Our Communities, and Caring for our Planet. 

The True Inspiration Awards were established in 2015 to carry on Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy’s legacy of generosity and community service. In these past ten years, 357 grants ranging from $30,000 to $350,000, have been distributed to organizations located across the U.S. as well as Puerto Rico, Canada and the U.K.
