The House of Cherith is a trauma-informed care residential recovery program providing a safe place for women, families and young girls who are survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation and those who have been employed in the sex entertainment industry. Our goal is to provide love and nurturing while preparing them for long-term sobriety and success. We are dedicated to helping provide resources and tools for restoring the heart so life can become whole, wounds are healed, new opportunities become evident, and hope is restored.

  • House of Cherith is a trauma-informed care residential recovery program. We provide a safe place for adult female survivors of sex trafficking, exploitation, domestic violence, and those who have been employed in the sex entertainment industry. Our goal is to provide love and nurturing while preparing these survivors for long-term sobriety and success. We are dedicated to helping provide resources and tools for restoring the heart so that life can become whole, wounds are healed, new opportunities become evident, and hope is restored. 

  • We offer several different residential programs including Safe House, Long Term, and Mommy & Me programs. Each of our residents will be assigned a case manager who will help them with their short-term and long-term goals. Our program takes a holistic approach when serving our ladies so that their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs can be met while being with us. We offer group therapy sessions, individual counseling sessions, family counseling and reunification, drug and alcohol recovery, mental health/behavioral health assessments, medical care, dental care, pastoral care, job readiness training and resources, life skills, and fitness training.

  • At House of Cherith, we strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment for all our residents.

    • Safe House: Our Safe House accommodates up to 12 residents. Each individual will have a private bedroom and share a bathroom.

    • Long-Term Houses: Our long-term homes are designed to accommodate around 12 residents. Each resident has their own bedroom and shares a bathroom.

    • Family Support Housing: Families participating in our Family Support Program have their own private room with a shared bathroom. Each house has a shared kitchen and living space.

    Our goal is to ensure that all residents feel secure and at home while receiving the support they need. If you have any specific questions or requirements, please feel free to reach out to us!

  • Phone Rules: No cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, computers, gaming devices, etc. Upon intake, your cell phone and electronic devices will be given to staff and returned upon departure. You will have access to your devices upon approval of both your case manager and RSA. If given access to a device, you are not to use social media or make any outside contact. Phone calls will be monitored and required to be on speakerphone; no cursing or inappropriate conversations are allowed. 

    Smoking Rules: No drugs, alcohol, smoking, vaping, etc., are allowed at any time. You are subject to random drug tests. Nicotine patches and gum are available to you at the med time if needed. 

    Prescriptions: We cannot allow our women to be on any narcotic or stimulant prescriptions while in the program.

  • Nothing! House of Cherith is free for all participants. It is a voluntary program but we do accept mandates as well.
